Winners of the National Excellence, National Model of Sustained Excellence and the National IAQ Tools for Schools Connector Awards will be recognized for their achievements at the 2011 IAQ Tools for Schools National Symposium, held January 13-15, 2011. Winners will be awarded one fully paid scholarship to Washington, D.C., to attend the Symposium, where they will be honored at an awards ceremony. EPA will also issue a national press release highlighting winners’ achievements to broadcast their success throughout the nation. Just got your IAQ program off the ground? Apply for the National Great Start or National Leadership Award, non-competitive awards designed to recognize schools and districts that are making strides toward implementing sustainable IAQ management programs. Winners receive a certificate and a letter of recognition from EPA, as well as acknowledgement of achievement on EPA’s website. These applications are accepted year-round.
